2010 National Scout Jamboree
Nestled in the rolling green hills of Virginia, close to our nation’s capital, Fort A.P. Hill lies near many historical Civil War landmarks. This 76,000-acre facility has hosted the national Scout jamboree since 1981. The Boy Scouts of America uses approximately 3,000 acres of land to support a city of more than 43,000 Scouts and leaders.

Contigent Members: Important Information Re. Medical Forms
You must complete your physicals July 27, 2009 and March 1, 2010. You should receive or have already received your medical form via e-mail directly from the National Jamboree. Failure to complete the fitness examination process by the March 2010 deadline may limit or prohibit your jamboree participation. 2010 Jamboree Information
The 2010 Pony Express Council National Jamboree contingent will hold its first Shakedown Campout on October 24-25. Report to the Siemens Training Center at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday October 24. Bring sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, clothing to participate in COPE course programming, clothes for indoor programming. Pickup is at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.
The second Shakedown is scheduled for April 17-18, 2010 - Mark your calendars!
