For over 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long-term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich and help to extend Scouting to America's youth.
The Order of the Arrow was founded in 1915 to serve a useful purpose: to cause the Scout Oath and Law to spring into action in all parts of the nation. To this day, the Order is dedicated to this high purpose.
The Order of the Arrow has a rich history spanning 100 years, from its beginnings at a Scout summer camp to its present role as a part of the Scouting program.
The Pony Express Council chartered the O-NI-FLO Lodge in August 2018. Scouts can now join a lodge throughout every council in America.

Fall OA Induction Weekend for Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil.
Friday, November 6 is the Pre-Ordeal registration starting at 6pm.
Saturday, November 7, the vigil starts at 7:30pm. The ceremony will be on Sunday, November 8 a 7am.
January 30, 2027
O-Ni-Flo Lodge Banquet - registration starts at 5pm. Banquet starts at 6pm at Deer Park Methodist Church. We will have a Mexican Fiesta Theme.
February 6, 2027
O-Ni-Flo Lodge Lock-In - Lock-in will start at 6pm, Saturday, February 6th at Huffman Memorial Church. Stay for Scout Sunday on Sunday the 7th. Cost is $10 per person at the door. Bring a snack or dessert for overnight. Pizza and doughnuts will be served for the overnight and breakfast.
April 9-11, 2027
Lodge Service project and fundraiser opportunity for NOAC 2027. This will be at the St. Joseph Lions Club Pancake Feed. Sign up sheet will be there. Wear Class B attire.
Times: April 9th - 6:30pm - 7pm, April 10th - 6:30 - 7pm, and April 11th - 6:30am - 2pm.
May 2, 2027
Vigil Committee Meeting at 3pm. Location TBD.
June 4-6, 2027
Induction to Brotherhood Weekend. At Camp Geiger dining hall.
July 26-31, 2027
NOAC 2027! This will be held at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. Cost is $1000 per person which includes registration, transportation, t-shirt, and patches. $100 deposit due at sign up. There could be additional fees which will be discussed at the information meeting that will be held as time gets closer. Several fundraising opportunities will be available and will be announced soon.
