Biography

Scouting is very dear to me, my husband Terry, and my sons.  My sons, Daniel and Evan, both started their climb to Eagle Scout as Tiger Cubs.  Our grandson is a Cub Scout.

I am currently serving as the Crossed Arrows District Commissioner and am an honorary warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.  I have served in numerous Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and district level leader positions and have had the privilege of serving on the Camp Geiger,  Wood Badge, and National Jamboree staffs.

In the "real" world, I am a full-time wife, mother, and grandmother.  I retired from teaching in the public school setting in May, 2010 after 28 years, but returned to teaching in 2012 and am teaching high school equivalency courses for the MO Department of Corrections.  My family and I are members of the Oak Christian Church.  Besides my church, I can think of no other organization to which I'd rather dedicate my time and resources than the Pony Express Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
