 NOW IN OUR 75TH YEAR OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE TO YOUTH

First chartered in 1933 by Dick Munkres Post No. 287, American Legion of  Savannah, Troop 60 remains one of the most active units in the Pony Express Council.

With unwavering commitment we continue our tradition of leadership, mentoring and lifelong learning to the youth of our communities.

Upcoming Event Notice

 The Ski Trip has been postponed until further notice.  Following Troop policy, any time school is out or let out due to weather the Troop will not have it's meeting or event.

4th Annual Banquet and Auction

Announcing the Savannah Troop Support Group, Inc. 4th Annual Banquet and Auction to support Savannah Troop 60.

Join us for a fun evening.  Enjoy a family style meal with all the fixings, bid on and purchase items donated by the community to raise operating dollars for Trrop 60.

DATE:  March 13

TIME:  Doors open and Silent Auction begins at 5 p.m.;  Dinner served at 6:00 p.m. and Live Auction begins at end of meal

LOCATION:  Savannah United Methodist Church (103 N. 4th, Savannah)

COST:  $15 - Adults; $10 - 16 - Younger; $125 for a reserved table for 10

Donations accepted and can be designated for a specific troop need.  Savannah Troop Support Group, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for profit corporation.  All donated items are eligible for charity tax deductions.  100% of all proceeds benefit Savannah Boy Scout Troop 60. Monetary donations made out to Savannah Troop Support Group, Inc. can be mailed to 3509 Emerald Lane, St. Joseph, MO 64506-1012.

 

 


 

 

TROOP 60 INFORMATION AND HISTORY

There are many resources available in the Files & Downloads section. You can check on merit badge progress, view the list of Troop 60 Eagle Scouts, Tribe of Mic-O-Say members, read the troop history, find out information about the Jeff Prewitt Award (now in its 30th year). Information is available on  the different opportunities the troop makes available to every boy  to earn money for summer camp, dues and uniforming.

 Troop 60 Cancellation Policy
Troop 60 strives to keep to meeting schedules and activities whenever possible.
However, when the Savannah School District cancels closes due to inclement weather, Troop 60 activities for that day are cancelled also.
