Pack 66 - Plattsburg, MO

History of Plattsburg Scouting

 Lord Baden-Powell originally started the Boy Scout program in England. Ernest Thompson Seton brought the program to the United States. He had started the Wood Craft Indians in 1902 and in 1910 founded the new Boy Scouts of America.

            Plattsburg is home of  Pack 66, Troop 66, and Crew 66.  All three units are chartered with the Broadway United Methodist Church.  The Pack has been chartered for 25 years, the Troop for 23 years and the Crew since 2007.  Plattsburg has had Eagle Scouts as early as 1929.  The Pack meets every fourth Tuesday at the church for the monthly Pack meeting at 7:00 pm.  The Troop meets every Monday night at the church at 7:00 pm.
