Winter Aquatics Program

5:00-9:00 PM Sundays @ NWMSU pool

21-February; 28-February; 07-March; 14-March

Cost:  $5.00 per night

6:00-9:00 PM Open Swim time is available for Troops or Packs. 

Please pre-register.

 

We will have staff available to give “Swim checks.”

Special Programs--Scouts or Scouters must be classified as swimmers.   

1.      *BSA Lifeguard Program: minimum age 15.  Participants will need to attend all four nights and an evening for CPR/First Aid for the Professional.  They may need additional time in the water.  Additional cost $20-25 for Red Cross Lifeguard materials and cost of CPR/First Aid for the Professional.

2.      *BSA Lifesaving Merit Badge: Participants will need to attend all four nights.

3.       *Swimming Merit Badge

4.      *Discover SCUBA:  5-7 PM each evening.  The maximum number is 8 per session.  There is an addition cost of $5.00 for the compressed air.  Pre-registration and additional paperwork are required.

5.      *BSA Aquatics Supervision may be arranged.

6.      *BSA Paddle Craft Safety may be arranged.

Otoe District Scouts and Scouters,

We are most going to cancel the First Aid, CPR/AED class and Aquatics program at NWMSU.

We will start next Sunday (weather permitting).

The First Aid, CPR/AED class will be Saturday, 20-March in St. Joseph.

If you were scheduled to be here, please respond so that I will know that you got this information.
