This is an opportunity for youth ages 10-18 to learn history, culture, beliefs, crafts, games, art, food and many other specifics of Native American Indian culture in a one-day classroom and interactive setting.
To be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Lone Jack Missouri High School. Registration and check-in will open at 8:00 AM. A short opening ceremony will be held at 8:45 AM. Classes will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until 3:00 PM with class changes on the hour (or 2-hour period). There will therefore be (6) class periods - 5 for individual learning experiences and 1 for lunch. A closing ceremony for all participants will be held in the large gymnasium beginning at 3:00 PM and should conclude shortly thereafter.
