Announcement:  Needed District Religious Emblems Coordinators

 

District Level Relationships RE Coordinator

 

This is an update on the new Religious Emblems Coordinator position in the Council.  The Purpose of this position is to encourage all youth to earn the Religious Emblem of their faith. Father Joe Powers has been selected by the Relationships Committee to serve as the Council Religious Emblems Coordinator.  He is now selecting District RE Coordinators. Craig Scroggins, from Crossed Arrows District, has been selected as their RE. If you are interested or know of someone interested in serving in this way please contact Father Joe Powers or Gaylon Whitmer (see contact information below).

 

Some of the Responsibilities of the District RE are:

 

*  Serve on Committee with Council RE Coordinator.

*  Disseminate information (Round Tables) and educate units.

*  Encourages Unit Committees to set goals for the number of Religious

    Emblems that will be earned each year.

*  Recruit "Presenters" to make presentations on Religious Emblems on the

    local level.

*  Work with clergy of the Chartered Partners.

*  Post information on the council, district, or unit websites about Religious

    Emblems Classes being conducted in the District.
