The Tribe of Mic-O-Say is the honor camping society of Camp Geiger. Tapping is the only public Mic-O-Say ceremony, and you are invited to witness it. This ceremony is to choose those young Scouts worthy of membership.
This is the night your son may be chosen to join the honor camping society of Camp Geiger. Tapping is a high honor, and only happens once. You will never have a chance to see your son tapped again. So please take the time to attend this important milestone in his Scouting career.

Arrive at camp just before dark this evening and follow the crowds to Tapping Valley. Bring your own lawn chair, blanket and BUG REPELLENT. The ceremony will begin at dusk, will last about an hour. Please be careful when exiting tapping valley and Camp Geiger. Many walkers will be about.
Please remain quiet during this fascinating and solemn ceremony. Members of the tribal council will be available prior to the ceremony to answer questions.
