Anyone interested in assisting with the shotgun program at Camp Geiger must be certified as a NRA Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer certified.
Training will begin September 17th with check-in at 6PM with instruction starting at 7PM. Instruction will begin again at 8AM Saturday. Finishing up with range instruction in the afternoon. All attendees must provide personal eye and ear protection. Firearms and ammunition will be provided.
This class will be limited in size to 25 participants. We will be signing up on line for the available slots. Out of council scouters will be taken on a space available basis.
Materials provided by Pony Express Council for in council scouters free of charge. Out of Council Scouters will be charged $25.00 for R.S.O. and $35.00 for Shotgun training materials.
All attendees will have to pay a certification fee which will be determined on an individual basis.
Online registration is to secure your spot in the classes only. Charges will be accessed the day of the class
