Sponsorship of a 2011 Eagle Scout helps to cover the cost of their meal at the Eagle Dinner, helps to pay for a small gift that is given to the 2011 Eagle Scouts, and provides overall financial support to the Eagle Recognition Dinner. As is tradition, all 2011 Eagle Scouts will not be charged to attend.

The American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year Award program for 2011 is currently taking applications from qualified Eagle Scouts. To qualify as a nominee, the prospective Eagle Scout must meet the following requirements:
10 Commandment Hike, Chaplain Aid Training, Reports from Units to Chartering Partners, Coming in April, 2012-Good Turn Month, "Scouting for Food", "Adopt A Highway", "Volunteering"
Philmont Backpacking Expedition Reservations for the year 2013 will be accepted in two ways: Council contingent reservation and individual unit reservations.

This is an update on the new Religious Emblems Coordinator position in the Council. The Purpose of this position is to encourage all youth to earn the Religious Emblem of their faith.
